- Having more than a decade of teaching, learning and research experience in English Studies, Dr Manish Kumar Gaurav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Literature, Regional Campus, The English and Foreign Languages University (A Central University) Lucknow. Dr Manish has been teaching Indian Aesthetic Theory, Indian Classical Literature, Indian English Literature, South Asian Literature to Ph. D., Post Graduate and Graduate students. He has also been engaged in teaching African Post-colonial studies.Dr Manish has seventeen research papers published to his credit. His research papers are deliberation on multiple topics varying from Chinua Achebe’s idea of Africa with English to Ngugi wa Thiongo’s idea of Africa without English, Naipual’s conventional idea of South Asian Diaspora to Malala’s recent agony of cutting from South Asian roots, Mahashweta Devi’s idea of women in Bengal to Manto’s idea of women in Punjab. His recent research endeavours are devoted to Indian Aesthetic Theory and Indian classical Literature.Dr Manish is also associated with the publication of literary journals coming from South Africa, Singapore and India. He co-edits a refereed journal Critical Paradigm, ISSN: 2249-5665 (print); ISSN: 2583-4215 (online), A peer reviewed multidisciplinary international journal. He is member of Editorial Boards for different journals of repute. He has delivered lectures in National and International Seminars as resource person. Dr Manish has conducted more than a dozen workshops on communication skills and creative writing. He also serves as member of Campus Research Committee. Dr Manish has presented more than 30 research papers in different national and international conferences. He has also served as organizing secretary for four international conferences on the topics varying from literature, language, and culture.Currently, Dr Manish is working on two major academic assignments i.e. writing a commentary on Indian Aesthetic Theory and a critical book on Indian Classical Literature.
